Spring is here, with Summer right around the corner!

The world around us is continually changing, along with the fashion in our closets for the season. Here is your guide to Rock and Ritzy's favorite Spring/Summer trends.

1. 80's silhouettes and Influences

Influences from 80's pop culture took over the runway; including using 80's super models like the Versace runway show. Puff sleeves jackets and blouses made an comeback to the runway. 80's was a time for bold style and now eye catching, statement styles are back. Big shoulders, exaggerated sleeves, and oversized blazer.

2. Bold Colors

Colors has gotten more bold and bright then the past fashion seasons. A trend of minimalism is over and transitioning to "maximilism". This trend means using bright and surprising colors together aka color blocking!

3. Check Print

Check print which is normally seen as a autumn/winter print took spring/summer by storm. From all ranges of colors, check print is our favorite print similar to a summer plaid but more chic. We believe the designers of Fendi, Burberry, and Alexander Mcqueen would agree.

4. Statement Sleeves

Whether it is ballon sleeves or puff sleeves, sleeves that catch the eye are trending. This trend is easy to incorporate to your wardrobe. These sleeves add volume to any summer piece!

5. Trench Coats

A classic trench coat is a wardrobe staple and a closet investment! This summer trend can be worn traditional like our Royale Plaid Trench coat. This is a great time to invest in a good trench coat; the perfect outerwear for the season.
